Abstract

This study discusses Indonesia's transformation from an agrarian country to an industrial country, focusing on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) as a catalyst in the industrialization process. Although Indonesia has great potential through the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) sector, which absorbs almost 97% of the workforce, challenges such as dependence on raw materials and low adoption of advanced technology hinder economic growth. Through a Literature Systematic Review (LSR) approach, this study analyzes research trends related to AI and technology adoption by MSMEs from 2019 to 2024. The results of the analysis show that AI can improve the efficiency and competitiveness of MSMEs, as well as support industrial sustainability. This study also highlights the importance of government policy support and technological infrastructure to ensure successful implementation
